EG Shields is an Appalachian born writer and graphic memoirist. Currently based in Brooklyn, she can usually be found day dreaming about the mountains and looking for green spaces. A recent graduate of the New School’s MFA program, her work has been featured in the Readers Write section of the Sun Magazine and her drawn essay appeared in The Rumpus.
