Hi everybody,

In celebration of several anniversaries (read about them in Luisa Igloria’s introduction) you will find the work of some of our wonderful ODU alumni. The artwork featured in this issue was found from photos donated to the ODU Archive. I would like to thank our alumni and the ODU Archive for how readily and happily they worked with us.

We were put in touch with Brian Freer and his work, Reverse Perception, through the Linda Matney Gallery. The Linda Matney gallery is doing important work shining light on talented Virginia artists.

Additionally, we have writing submitted to us from far outside the program and Virginia. It seems that good work is attracted to good work, and that’s how this issue came together. Thanks for celebrating with us.
