We are sneaking out this issue not just to celebrate ODU’s 46th annual Literary Festival, not just to celebrate our website redesign, but because these works are meaningful, and together they create a gamut of loss, grief, and—somehow—ornithology.
In the weeks to come we will be publishing interviews from our festival, which—to name a few—include the likes of Andrew Joseph White, Brian Turner, and Chauna Craig. In our Winter issue, you will see more work from our cover artist, Solomon Enos, and we will soon reveal our featured author. I don’t think it will spoil anything to let you know that she’s brilliant.
