Elizabeth Theriot grew up in LaPlace, Louisiana and currently lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where she teaches writing. She is working to finish a memoir about her experiences with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, disability, and desire, as well as a poetry manuscript.
